Fear

My head feels kinda messed up recently and I'm not really sure why? Work keeps alternating between really good and really bad, I mean I hate my new boss and it suxks cos the whole hierachy has been changed and some of my friends have been made redundant but then I've made some new friends that I'm getting on better with than the people that left??

And then things with Adam are messed upto, he is as usual being a twit but then he turns around and is really nice again??

And then there's New Zealand.

My parents aren't happy about it, they've made that clear but they're also trying to help?? What?? And I'm scared. Well, terrified really. I go in like 55 days and I can't tell my parents or Adam I'm scared cos they'll just give me a lecture. It was easier when my friend was here cos she was so enthusiastic about going but she's left already so now its just me. And I'm scared. I mean I still wanna go, more than anything. But... Its a very long way from home and for longer than I've ever been away before. So I'm allowed to be scared right?

Life

Okay, so I've been pretty rubbish at updating this recently but my life got a little busy...

Okay, well I guess the biggest news is that I'm going to New Zealand in January for 6 months (well thats the plan anywayz). I'm going with a girl I've known since playschool, she's going travelling from October and I'm just gonna meet her in New Zealand. Its going to be so much fun!

In other news I've met someone I really like and I'm now sure they don't have a gf but I can't ask them out because I'm not sure they like me and I work with them so it could make things incredibly awkward. *sigh* So not far.

Europride ruled. I also went to Bristol Mardi Gras which in someways was even better cos I could drink! got very drunk that day and had to work the nxt day, not fun!

RANT!

Why are people so cruel? At work there's this 94 year stone deaf bloke that comes in shopping a couple of times a week, serving him can be really awkward because he dosn't understand a word your saying, refuses to take loose change and can just generally be awkward, but being 94 I personally think he's earned that right?

Now today this little old bloke comes in and is his usually awkward but pleasant self, he then goes over to the bench behind me, where somehow his trousers end up round his knees. I told a lady I work with and she went over to him and asked him to pull them up. Fine right?

No. This lady then goes and calls our manager and tells him the customer is always rude and has pulled his trousers down. The manager then goes and bans the guy, who has no idea what the hell is going on. He was saying "But what have I done, I haven't done anything, I know this store".

I mean can you imagine how horrible it must be for this man, to now have to go to a different store where the staff don't him and he doesn't know them, doesn't know the store.

I'm just horrified, I wanted to just walk out. I told my mum and she knows him, and she told me he's Jewish and survivied the holocaust and look how we treat him! I hate my job!

Having a wonderful lazy day, no work, no pressing things to do so just lazing about the house with Adz who is for once not irratating me!

Kerry's getting a new car for her 21st - a BRAND new car! She doesn't seem so sad abouyt her first car being totaled now, I wonder why?

I've just realised I need new sunglasses - thats gonna cost me like £130, crap. On the upside my holiday is now officially paid for, woo! I mean I can't afford to eat while I'm there but hey I'm *sure* I can live on air, right?

Mum and Dad are going on holiday on Saturday for a whole week! Which is y'know wonderful, I'm going out for Adams b-day on Saturday night so I won''t have to worry about them worrying about where I am.

So scared....

I came home from work on Bank holiday Monday to hear Steph say the *most* terrifying words I have ever heard in my life... "Kerry's had a car crash".

Thankfully she's fine, I mean her car is trashed, but thats not really important. She was driving back to Uni and went into the back of some guy, I had to go pick her up from the otherside of Devises and get her car pulled back home. I don't think I've ever been so scared, the worst possible scenarios ran through my head in the second between hearing she'd crashed to hearing she was fine. I *never* want to be that scared again.

Okay, i went to work yesterday and everything was going fine until i get called all the way down to till one and I see "Call Auth Centre" And I immediately thought *shit, never had to do one of these before* so I call my boss and she tells me the phone number and that after that its self explanatory. So, I ring the number, put in the guys card details and then the lady wants to ask the guy some security questions, i go and get him and put him on the phone. Now what is *supposed* to happen here and what has happened every time I've had one (on a till not as supervisor) is they come back and the supervisor puts in an authorisation number and you just finish the transaction - but that couldn't possibly happen one my first one as a supervisor coudl it! No. I get back on the phone and am told "I'm afraid the transactions been declined and i'm going to need you to retain the mans card." Oh crap. Thankfully the guy was mostly okay about it and went off down his bank to yell at them!
It couldn't of been a nice easy one for the first time could it! Ah well, apparently me and the person on the till get to split a £50 reward! Yay!

Okie, I like my job (most of the time), even though the pay is rubbish and the managers suck, I have lots of friends there. But on days like today I really wonder why I'm still there, everything went wrong today and to make it worse a certain girl is back from Uni making my life hell because she's a bossy cow.

I've been invited to a girls 18th in a couple of weeks (pretty much half of work is going) and I really want to go but I'm broke, so i don't know if I'll be able to. I'm hoping I can convince my mum to let me take some money out of my other account, which is highly doubtful!
